IdeaMist LLC, doing business as RevCue
These Terms of Service govern your use of RevCue, a product of IdeaMist LLC. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please read them — we've written them in plain English on purpose.
RevCue is operated by IdeaMist LLC, located at 2618 San Miguel Drive #2080, Newport Beach, CA 92660. Contact us at hello@revcue.app.
You must be 16 or older to use RevCue. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account with others or use RevCue to impersonate another person or business.
RevCue offers a permanent free tier with full access to core features on one project. No credit card is required, and the free plan does not expire. You may upgrade to a paid plan (Solo or Pro) at any time to unlock additional projects, clients, and features.
RevCue offers the following plans:
Free — $0
Solo — $19/month, or $15/month billed annually
Pro — $39/month, or $31/month billed annually
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with 30 days' notice. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. See Section 5 for full payment and refund terms.
5.1 Subscription Plans
RevCue offers the subscription plans described in Section 4 above. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
5.2 Billing
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize RevCue (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current subscription rate. Charges occur at the start of each billing period. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and current payment information. Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of your account.
5.3 Free Tier as Pre-Purchase Evaluation
RevCue provides a permanent free tier that includes full access to core features, including AI-powered scope detection, change order generation, and video review, on one project. By upgrading to a paid plan, you acknowledge that you have had a meaningful opportunity to evaluate the Service prior to purchase and that you are doing so with full knowledge of its features and limitations.
5.4 No Refunds
All fees paid to RevCue are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to:
Cancellation of your subscription stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
5.5 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are charged in full at the time of purchase and are non-refundable. You may cancel an annual subscription at any time to prevent renewal, but no partial or pro-rated refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the subscription term.
5.6 Service Credits
In the event of a verified service outage or technical failure caused solely by RevCue that renders the Service substantially unusable for a continuous period exceeding 24 hours, your sole and exclusive remedy is a pro-rated service credit applied to your next billing cycle. Service credits are not transferable, have no cash value, and do not constitute a refund. RevCue's liability for service disruptions is expressly limited to this remedy.
5.7 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. RevCue does not prorate charges for partial billing periods.
5.8 Price Changes
RevCue reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
5.9 Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, you must contact RevCue support at hello@revcue.app within 30 days of the charge. RevCue will investigate and resolve legitimate billing errors promptly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting RevCue support constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination of your account and pursuit of any outstanding balance.
5.10 Taxes
You are responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. RevCue will collect applicable sales tax where required by law.
RevCue uses Stripe for payment processing. By using RevCue's payment features you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service at stripe.com/legal.
If you connect a Stripe Express account to receive payments through RevCue, you agree to Stripe Connect's terms. IdeaMist LLC is not responsible for payment disputes between you and your clients.
You own everything you upload to RevCue — your videos, projects, client data, and change orders. You grant IdeaMist LLC a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the RevCue service.
We do not claim ownership of your work and will never use your content for advertising or share it with third parties without your consent.
You may not use RevCue to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We will notify users of planned maintenance where possible.
RevCue, its design, features, and code are owned by IdeaMist LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of RevCue without written permission.
RevCue is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. IdeaMist LLC does not warrant that:
You use RevCue at your own risk. We strongly recommend maintaining your own backups of any critical project files, videos, or client data.
You are solely responsible for all content you upload, share, or transmit through RevCue, including but not limited to:
IdeaMist LLC does not review, monitor, or moderate user-generated content. We are not responsible for:
If you encounter inappropriate content from a client through RevCue, you are responsible for managing that client relationship directly. RevCue is a tool — we are not a party to your client relationships.
RevCue provides tools to help you manage client projects, revisions, and change orders. However, IdeaMist LLC is not a party to any agreement between you and your clients.
We are not responsible for:
You are solely responsible for your client relationships, project agreements, and any disputes that arise from them.
RevCue integrates with Stripe to facilitate payment processing and invoicing. IdeaMist LLC is not a bank, payment processor, or financial institution.
We are not responsible for:
All billing for RevCue subscriptions is charged to the payment method you add to your account. You are responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and up to date. IdeaMist LLC is not liable for charges made to an incorrect card or account that you have added.
For payment disputes with Stripe, please contact Stripe directly at stripe.com/support. For billing disputes with RevCue, contact hello@revcue.app within 30 days of the charge.
IdeaMist LLC takes reasonable precautions to protect your data but cannot guarantee against data loss. We are not responsible for:
You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your RevCue account. We cannot recover accounts where access to the associated email has been lost.
RevCue does not screen content uploaded to the platform. You must not upload:
IdeaMist LLC is not responsible for any sensitive, explicit, or illegal content uploaded by users or their clients. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice or refund.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IdeaMist LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
This indemnification survives termination of your RevCue account.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
IdeaMist LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of RevCue shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid IdeaMist LLC in the 12 months prior to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Before filing any legal claim against IdeaMist LLC, you agree to contact us at hello@revcue.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Orange County, California under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit against IdeaMist LLC.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
RevCue integrates with Stripe to facilitate optional payment processing for freelancers. By connecting a Stripe account through RevCue, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Connected Account Agreement. RevCue is not a party to any payment transactions between freelancers and their clients.
Platform Liability Disclaimer
RevCue acts solely as a software platform and is not responsible for: payment disputes, chargebacks, or reversals between freelancers and clients; losses arising from fraudulent transactions processed through connected Stripe accounts; negative account balances on connected Stripe Express accounts; Stripe's decisions to hold, restrict, or terminate connected accounts; or any fees, penalties, or losses resulting from payment processing.
Freelancers are solely responsible for their financial relationships with clients, compliance with applicable laws, and any tax obligations arising from payments received through the platform.
By connecting a Stripe account to RevCue, you acknowledge that you are entering into a direct agreement with Stripe, Inc., RevCue does not guarantee payment collection or delivery, and RevCue bears no liability for Stripe's actions regarding your connected account.
RevCue provides free browser-based tools at revcue.app/tools, including a Scope Creep Cost Calculator and a Freelance Change Order Generator. These tools are provided for informational and convenience purposes only.

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. Continued use of RevCue after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
