RevCue is built by IdeaMist LLC. We take your privacy seriously — not just because the law requires it, but because trust is the foundation of everything we build. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

Account Data
When you create a RevCue account we collect your name, email address, and the date you signed up. This is used to operate your account and send you transactional emails.
Project & Client Data
RevCue stores the projects, clients, video versions, comments, and change orders you create. This data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore and is only accessible by you and the clients you explicitly invite.
Video Data
Videos you upload are processed and stored through Mux, a third-party video infrastructure provider. Mux has its own privacy policy available at mux.com/privacy.
Payment Data
Payments are processed through Stripe. RevCue never stores your credit card details. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy. If you connect a Stripe account for payouts, that connection is governed by Stripe Connect's terms.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage data including when you log in, what features you use, and email open and click rates via Postmark. We use this to improve RevCue — not to sell to advertisers.
RevCue sends two types of emails:
Transactional emails — these are required to operate the service (change order notifications, client review alerts, billing receipts). You cannot opt out of these while your account is active.
Promotional emails — these include your trial sequence and product updates. You can unsubscribe from these at any time using the unsubscribe link in any promotional email or by contacting us at hello@revcue.app.
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication), hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@revcue.app.
US Users (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of your data (we do not sell data). To exercise these rights contact hello@revcue.app.
EU Users (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to processing, and request data portability. Our legal basis for processing your data is contract performance and legitimate interest. To exercise your rights contact hello@revcue.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Canadian Users (CASL/PIPEDA)
If you are in Canada, you have the right to access and correct your personal data. We only send commercial emails to users who have expressly consented at signup. You can withdraw consent at any time.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).
RevCue is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of RevCue after changes means you accept the updated policy.
